Athens Games Festival 2017 στο Εκθεσιακό Κέντρο της Helexpo
Το πρώτο Athens Games Festival έρχεται!
Θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 28 και 29 Οκτωβρίου 2017, στο Εκθεσιακό Κέντρο της Helexpo, στο Μαρούσι. 3.500 τετραγωνικά μέτρα θα είναι αφιερωμένα στο ψηφιακό παιχνίδι! Θα είναι ακόμα αφιερωμένο στην προσέλκυση επενδύσεων. Την προώθηση του ελληνικού video game και την ανάπτυξη του ανταγωνιστικού κλάδου του video game development. Θα γίνει με τη συμμετοχή Ελλήνων και ξένων game developers, ερευνητών, ακαδημαϊκών, εκδοτών και δημοσιογράφων.

Οι επισκέπτες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να συμμετέχουν, να δουν και να ακούσουν:
- Παρουσιάσεις από σημαντικούς ανθρώπους της παγκόσμιας βιομηχανίας gaming.
- Συναντήσεις με στελέχη σημαντικών διεθνών εταιριών του χώρου.
- Εκθέτες από την Ελλάδα, την Κύπρο και άλλες χώρες.
- Επιχειρηματικές συναντήσεις μέσα από την πλατφόρμα του Pitch and Match αλλά και εκδηλώσεις όπως το Athens Games Festival Party.
- Διαγωνισμούς για την ανάδειξη νέων ταλέντων στο χώρο του game industry όπως το Nordic Game Discovery Contest.
Game Art Collection
Ακόμη, κατά τη διάρκεια του Athens Games Festival θα διεξαχθεί για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη χρονιά το Game Art Collection (GAC).
Καλλιτέχνες που δραστηριοποιούνται στο χώρο της ανάπτυξης ψηφιακών παιχνιδιών, θα συμμετάσχουν σε μια έκθεση. Η έκθεση σκοπό έχει να αναδείξει το ταλέντο Ελλήνων και ξένων 2D artists και μουσικών. Το θέμα της οι Υπερήρωες (superheroes) της Ελλάδας!
Διοργάνωση
Το Athens Games Festival διοργανώνεται από τη Γενική Γραμματεία Ενημέρωσης και Επικοινωνίας. Του Υπουργείου Ψηφιακής Πολιτικής, Τηλεπικοινωνιών και Ενημέρωσης (http://www.media.gov.gr). Γίνεται σε συνεργασία το White Nights Conference (http://wnconf.com).
